Successful completion of the Answer ITN Training Event C on “Microcontaminants in the aquatic water cycle – wastewater reuse – the Cypriot/Israeli experience” which was held in Rehovot, Israel.
The aim of this training event was to provide Answer ITN ESRs with professional and personal development opportunities beyond what they are generally exposed to in the course of their Ph.D. training.
Its main topics were:
(i) Microcontaminants in the aquatic water cycle; Diversity/distribution of soil bacteria;
(ii) Preparation of research proposals and management of projects;
(iii) Training course in live-media competence;
(iv) Entrepreneurship and commercial exploitation of research results and
(v) Introduction to patent law.
This event was co-organized by Nireas International Water Research Center, of the University Of Cyprus, the Volcani Center – ARO and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
