A Call for one position for an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) has been announced at the University of Salerno, in the context of the project entitled “Antibiotics and mobile resistance elements in wastewater reuse applications: risks and innovative solutions” (ANSWER), funded by the European Union under Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (H2020-MSCA-ITN- 2015/675530).
The succesful candidate will be committed to carry out research activities under the supervision of Dr. Lugi Rizzo within the specific project ESR12 concerning the:
“Development of a new photocatalytic reactor for wastewater disinfection and subsequent application in crops irrigation: effect on antibiotic resistance transfer and ARB&ARG accumulation in crops.”.

The announcement is addressed to ESRs who have not yet achieved PhD degree and meet the following requirements (please see attached announcement for details):
• Master of Science or equivalent degree in one of the following area: environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, environmental science, biology, microbiology or related degrees, which formally entitles them to embark on a doctorate;
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English language (to be assessed during the interview);
• ESR in the first four years of her/his research career;
• ESR must not have resided or carried out her/his main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the last 3 years immediately prior of the deadline for the submission of this application.
